Monday Club

This story is a bout a 3 persons: Chung Hoo his friend Hyun-Ki and a girl Kyung-Soon.

Chung Hoo is a bit arrogant guy, he looks often angry and is pretty short and his hair is bleached. In other words he´s troublemaker and his life is difficult. His family is very messed up too. Actually Chung Hoo is a pretty nice guy and if you get to know him he is funny, reliable and loyal. He doesn´t have that many friends in school becuase he isn´t very social. Actually many girls have secret crush on him becuase he´s pretty cute and a bit dreamy but he knows how to be cool too. He doesn´t care about anything and he´s very lazy always yawning in classand staring at the sky. In his own way mysterious and in those eyes who don´t knwo him he seems very arrogant and mean.

Kyung Soon is kind and gentle girl. She never gets mad and doesn´t know how to say no. That´s why she gets used by other girls a lot. She´s a bit slow too so she doesn´t notice always taht ppl are using her. Everyone likes her but she mainly hangs out with her so called "friends" two pretty girls. Those girls doesn´t care about her at all. But she keeps smiling. She can tolerate very much shit that they throw at her but after all Kyung Soo is at her limits.

Hyun-Ki is pretty serious guy, he is top student of his class and pretty cool too. Everyone wants to be his friends but the only one he cares about is Chung Hoo. He always keeps bugging Chung Hoo (this is how Chung Hoo thinks about the situation) but actually these guys have pretty much fun together. They met 3 years ago. Hyun Ki was being bullied by some gang members and Chung Hoo saved him. Since then Hyun Ki has always been near Chung Hoo. They never said to each other "let´s be friends" they just happened to meet again and again and in the end it was just natural to be together.

Story starts when Chung Hoo is running trhough the shopping mall while 3 guys chase him (got into trouble with wrong ppl again). In the end he succeeds to get away. While he´s hiding in fitting booth he looks in the mirror and suddenly realizes that he´s one happy person. Life is actually easy, not difficult. It just strikes him. So he´s very happy when he leaves. Accidentally he meets Kyung Soon, she´s yelled at by a scary guy. He looks very mad and stuff he´s saying is very frightening like "Why did she say so? I´ll kill her, I´ll kill you and then I´ll kill myself. No, you must be lying! I hate liars, I´ll kill you instead." Kyung Soon is too scared to run away. Chung Hoo suddenly remembers her being in the same class, he just walks by, grabs her hand and they run away together. They just run as fast as they can. They end up in the park, Chung Hoo falls on the ground and rolls in the grass as he´s very happy. Kyung Soo just sits there and starts crying. She then tells that one of her friends wanted to break up with this guy and so sent Kyung Soo because couldn´t do it herself. Chung Hoo just replies "I didn´t ask anything" they sit quietly and then just start talking about stuffs, about life about their pasts. Many painful memories fly by as they talk *many flashbacks here*. Then it´s alredy very late, time to go home. So they promise each other to meet every monday at this spot at four.

In school they act as they don´t know each other. They don´t actually act but they just don´t have anthing to say to eatch other so why talk then? Time goes by very fast as they meet, without noticing it they are actually looking forward next meeting. They don´t just talk but do things together like go sightseeing and eating ice cream. Chung Hoo comforts Kyung Soo a lot and helps her overcome many things in school with his vice advices. When it comes to himself he doesn´t seem to have any problems, he seems very carefree and happy person. He gives Kyung Soo a lot of self confidence and she becomes a lot stronger than she was in the beginning. Somehow she could grasp a bit from Chung Hoo´s happiness and carefree lifestyle to herself.

Then comes twist. Hyun Ki tells Chung Hoo that he´s interested in Kyung Soon. And almost at the same time Kyung Soon tells Chung Hoo that there is a guy she likes a lot but she´s too shy to confess. At first she doesn´t want to tell who the guy is because it´s actually Chung Hoo but in the end she makes up a lie and tells it´s Kyun Ki. Chung Hoo didn´t think about love before but he felt very painful when he heard about Kyung Soo´s crush. He had so painful expression when he heard Kyung Soo happily saying "it´s Hyun Ki." that Kyung Soo asked "is everything alright? You look pale." but Chung Hoo just smiles and promises to help her. Afterwards Chung Hoo tells Hyun Ki to just ask Kyung Soon out. When he does Kyung Soon turns him down and tells she likes Chung Hoo but asks Hyun Ki to keep this a secret. In the end Hyun Ki is very mad and heart broken, he gets into a fight with Chung Hoo. Chung Hoo is taken aback about everything, he just doesn´t get what the hell is going on cuz he thinks Hyun Ki and Kyung Soon like each other.

One day Hyun Ki and Kyung Soon meet accidentally in a cafe, they sit and talk. Hyun Ki feels bad about fighting with Chung Hoo and Kyung Soon encourages him to talk with his friend and make up. They laught and have fun while talking, they are actually taliking about Chung Hoo because both of them like this guy a lot. Chung Hoo happens to see them and feels very sad, he feels like his heart is going to explode from pain and sadness. Of corse he thought those two were on a date. It seems like Chung Hoo has somehow lost two very precious persons, that´s how he feels. To relieve this pain he climbs on a rail of the bridge which is very high. It looks like he´s going to commit suicide by jumping off but he´s just standing there looking at the sea and the sky and feels really relieved. Some old lady sees him and is very worried, Chung Hoo then jumps back on the ground and says "I can´t die just yet, I need to take care of two idiots because without me they won´t have happy life" He decides to forget his love for Kyung Soon and seems happy but a lonley tear is running down his cheeck.

Kyung Soon decided to confess her feelings next monday. But on her way to the park she get´s into a car accident (remember scary guy from beginning). Chung Hoo can see car coming and tries to save her but he´s a bit late, he get´s hurt himself too but it´s just a scratch. Accident reminds him of the past. His 6 years old brother died in a car accident 4 years ago. He was playing with a ball, it rolled on the road and this little guy rushed to get it, of course he didn´t look for cars and got hit. Chung Hoo was 13 years old then, he saw whole accident, actually he could have saved his bro, he could have grabbed his hand and stopped him because he saw the car coming. But in fact Chung Hoo was coward, he was so scared to hurt himself he couldn´t move and thus let his brother die. Now he saw the same thing, for him time stopped but in reality it was running very fast. That´s way Chung Hoo couldn´t save Kyung Soon either. Later on doctor said Kyung Soon´s heart was damaget and she could die any minute. If they could receive a heart donation her life could be saved. Doctor said they vere looking for a heart and trying their best to save Kyung Soon´s life BUT... After hearing this Chung Hoo grabbed doctor and begged "please, take my heart then. I will give it. I´ll do anything NOT to let her die." Doctor just smiled and told Chung Hoo not to lose hope.

Some time passed. Then Chung Hoo couldn´t wait anymore. He asked doctor if he could sign a document and state that if anything happens to him he would want to give his heart to this girl called Kyung Soon. Doctor didn´t let him do so because he suspected Chung hoo would kill himself. So Chung Hoo waited a bit more, he sat beside Kyung Soon´s (she was in coma) bed and was very worried, blamed himself again. Then he took her hand and said "I have only one request: forget me. You must live on no matter what and be happy" After that he rushed to another hospital, filled out the donation card, rushed back to the Kyung Soon´s hospital. He found doctor at the second floor, handed paper and said "You can´t stop me" these were Chung Hoo´s last words. He then looked around and saw emergency steps that lead to the first floor. He jumped. Well, nobody dies from jumping from the top of stairway but Chung Hoo was very fortunate. He hit his forehead pretty badly, injury led to a braing damge and quick death. His last thought was: "I don´t want to die and give up. I don´t want to end up being coward. But if I live on she dies. And if she dies I don´t want to live. In the end I am a coward. Stupid, idiotic, annoying coward"

When Hyun Ki came to the hospital he was alredy late. Chung Hoo was dead and Kyung Soon was in the middle of an operation. She was in critical condition and doctor wasn´t sure if he could save her but he vowed to do his best thus Chung Hoo´s death wouldn´t be pointless. While fighting for her life Kyug Soon saw a dream. She was sitting in the park, on that bench where she was always waiting for Chung Hoo. This time he wasn´t late but Kyung Soo couldn´t recognize him. "Who are you waiting for?" he asked and sat beside her. "I don´t remember, but I feel that he is someone I love from the bottom of my heart." Chung Hoo smiled. Not looking at Kyung Soon he replied "Whoever it is I hope you two can be together forever but you must remember to be true to your feelings. No matter what, you must say you love that person, you must say it to him face to face as soon as you meet him. Never hold back your true feelings." Kyung Soon was surprised by these words "Who are you?" she asked and looked at the mysterious guy. "Me? I am a mere illusion. I am your dream, I am the love in your heart and I will always watch over you. So live, live a good life. Give me a reason to look at you, make me happy." and then he just walked away and dissappeared leaving Kyung Soon alone.

When Kyung Soon woke up she saw Hyun Ki sitting beside her bed looking very sad and shocked. She then asked what´s the matter and Hyun Ki replied "Chung Hoo is dead" Kyung Soon looked at him with confusion. "Who´s Chung Hoo?" she asked then. Kyun Ki lifted up his head and looked deep in Kyung Soon´s eyes. "You don´t know him?" but Kyung Soo only smiled at him, it was a very sad smile. "No, I never knew a person like that."
