My Idol Friend

Volume 1 is only about Haru and Hoshi. They are cousins and best friends from childhood. When they were little some unpleasant things happened at home. Hoshi´s mum died young and his father ended up drinking and being violent. They didn´t have money and almost ended up on the street since family abondoned them after seeing Hoshi´s fater fall in misery. Haru wasn´t allowed to see Hoshi but they always met secretly: planned their future, had fun and just tried to escape from painful life. Their family was very strict and old fashioned. Like old ppl wearing kimonos and living in a big house with sakura trees and all^^ But exceptionally Haru´s father was very kind and sweet. He was just an ordinary man from a normal family. He wasn´t in love with Haru´s mother at all since it was arranged marriage. Their relationship was very cold since Haru´s mother didn´t like showing her emotions. Haru´s father would often sneak out and play with boys, take them to amusmet park and stuff. He also tried to help Hoshi´s father to live on and help financially. At least he made so that Haru and Hsohi could go to the same schools.

One day when they vere in elementary school Hoshi had his chance and became a model and then actor and finally a singer. He sure had talent and became mega idol. But family still didn´t want to accept him, they thought shwobiz was shameful (those damn old geezers should go and kill themselves, nothing is enought for them!!! --this is my opinion^^) and his father just couldn´t get a hold of himself and became such a bum. Losing his wife, love bigger than his will to live was too much for a man who had lived all his life under family´s protection. Haru and Hosi were really close at school everyone would want to hang out with them. At least they could be happy.

Hoshi is a typical clueless, cute and innocent guy. He is still short and cute and has blonde hair. If whole school surrounds him and asks for signatures he would write till his hand bleeds and still smile. But when he get´s angry... BEVARE! It´s just a front he puts up, because it´s much easier to live like a clueless kid.

Haru used to smile a lot and deep inside he is kind and caring. But on surface cold and mean. He has black hair, is tall and pretty handsome. But he has lost his smile. Because Hoshi was often absent due to work everyone glued to Haru cuz he was good freind with Hoshi. Everyone just wanted to get close to Hoshi and used him shamlessly. Even his girlfriends (he had some) just used him. Even if they smiled and said "I really like you" in the end it was all an act. Of course when Haru finally understood the situation, all ppl around him loved ones, beloved ones all became just mere enemies. They all had betrayed his feelings and Haru lost all his trust in ppl. He would trust only Hoshi and never blame him. Haru just laughed when Hoshi said he would kill anyone who mistreats his friends. Only with Hoshi Haru would smile and be happy.

When they entered high school Haru decided devote himself to studying. He dressed up like some nerd and never talked to anyone cuz he was fed up with ppl. Of course he had other life too: he would often help Hoshi´s manager, sometimes even was Hoshi´s bodyguard and stuff like that. He lived alone now, because his family annoyed him. They tried to get him back but Haru didn´t want to come, just visited home some times, he was also his grandma´s favorite.

Volume 2
begins with test results. Again two idiots got last place with exactly same result which is 10. Mai and Keita (childhood friends) two clowns, idiots, losers but nice ppl. They hated school and loved playing around, everyone was their friend^^ These (guy and girl) knew what means have fun and would make anyone laught. Utako was close friend of their, they met her at first day in High school and became good friends. They also are in same class. When Mai and Keita returned to classroom after principal nearly killed them they saw Hoshi and all students crowding around him. So they saved him by playing his managers, everyone laughed and then ppl slowly left them alone. Haru was surprised seeing those 3 entering classroom and Hoshi smiling happily between Mai and Keita.

In the end Mai got great idea while they were looking at Hoshi and Haru talking. "Haru is pretty good at school. In fact he´s best in the class. Always getting the highest score. Why not ask him to tutor us?" she whispered with Keita and Utako. "no way he will agree" was Utako´s opinion. But Mai still asked. At first Haru said "no" he was looking pretty scary with his still face. Then Hoshi overtalked him in doing it and so actual story starts.

Haru never expected for Mai and Keita be so stupid. First time they met was after class when they decided how they should proceed with tutoring. M&K had seen Jdrama called Dragon Zakura before (it´s about studying) and decided that studying history would be teh best with reading mangas and studying english would be the best listening to english songs and singing along. But Haru never agreed to that. K&M somehow pissed him off since they were so happy all the time. He promised to make some kind of timetable. In the end he discovered himself totally devoted to some level test he planned to give K&M to learn their abilities. He was actually so in it that he forgot himself, happily whistling. When he suddenly realized the situation his serious expression came back to him as he thought "I´m doing this for the useless people who will betray me in the end"

As everyone could predict Keita´s and Mai´s test results were shoking (well only to Haru). He could never believe that so stupid human being exsisted. Moreover Keita nad Mai glued to him, they always followed him everywhere in school and made fun of him. And he always got mad at them. For Utako it was fun to watch. Haru´s tutoring would be done usually at Mai´s home. Sometime´s Keita´s home since they were neighbours. Haru often found himself wondering if K&M were always together doing everything together. Then he as every logical being thought they are dating which was not true. But his tutoring lessons always ended up being a mess, pillow fight or movie watching evening. So after a month with zero results Haru made up his mind and decided to keep the tutoring at nearby cafeteria. It wasn´t that succesful cuz tehy always ended up making stories about bypassers or just dozing off. When Haru complained to Hoshi this fella just laughed. In his eyes Haru has somehow begun regain human feelings which were sealed deep in his heart. Also Hoshi knew in his herat that if he wanted to make his dreams come true and become even bigger star to make sure to keep himself in entertaining world he had to go to Tokyo (they lived in Kyoto). It´s not like the bond between cousins and best friends would break but Hoshi knew that Haru wouldn´t be ready to live just by himself, not depending on anyone. So Hoshi trusted K&M and hoped for the best. He really didn´t want to betray Haru and leave him alone so he decided to wait a bit longer.

Volume 3
Mai comes to school and finds Keita depressed. He then confesses he has fallen in love. Of course Mai feels a bit sad becuase that means their friendship would change. But she encourages her best friend and they start talking about the girl. They won´t even notice that Haru didn´t come to school. So Keita decides to confess this afternoon and after making great confessing plan with Mai he takes a leve. Only now Mai suddenly relizes that she hasn´t seen Haru at all today. Luckily she bumps on Hoshi in the hallway on her way out and Hoshi tells her Haru sis sick. "Huh? no way, is it serious?" she seems to be a bit worried. "Just fever, I´m kinda worried since he lives alone and has no one to tae care of him." Hosi is a bit sad. "Well then, tell me where he lives so I can go look after him. You can come after you finish your work today. And I don´t have anything to to today anyway since Keita isn´t with me." After hearing taht Hoshi seems enlightened and gives Mai Haru´s address. She walks off hapily whistling by herself and hoshi looks at her back with a smile.

First mai buys some stuffs from grocery store, liek veggies and other healthy foods. Then she walks to Harus´s aparment. After making sure it´s the right address she rings the bell. At that moment Haru is lying on his bed and when he hears bell ringing he curses the persin beind the door. At first he doesn´t wanna open it but the person won´t stop ringing the bell, after a whihe Mai starts ringing different melodies. haru is a boutto explode! Madly he walks to the door and opens it, his eyes meet with Mai´s. Haru is really surprised and doesn´t know what to say, Mai just looks at him silently. "So, is Haru home? I heard he´s sick you know I was kinda worried. Actually now that I look at you, you look sick as well. Ar eyou his brother?" she suddenly starts talking. "You!" Haru whispers, he loosk really angry. And Mai recognizes his voice roght away. "Oh, Haru!" she shouts. "youlooked kinda different just now" after that she barges in.
